Just a quick post to ask everyone to document how the eclipse affects your quail.

UPDATE:
Nothing exciting to report here. Even though we we in the path of totality, the birds seemed unaffected. The quail ate, drank, and panted due to the heat as normal.
I had a single chicken go on roost, the rest acted normal for the middle of a hot day.
Beyond that it was real quiet until it was getting closer to totality, then the cicadas got LOUD, as soon as that was over (I saw the diamond ring, pretty cool) the cicadas got quiet again.
Anyone got anything more exiting to report?
